| The Reverend Christie
M. Dalton |
The Reverend Christie M. Dalton has served as Trinity’s deacon since October, 2003. She was ordained to the vocational diaconite in the Diocese of Arizona in October, 2002.
Christie holds a B.A. in Religious Studies from Arizona State University. Currently, she is studying for her Masters of Divinity at Wake Forest University School of Divinity. Her senior project will focus on the future of Christianity in America.
Christie grew up in the denomination of the Disciples of Christ but fell in love with the Episcopal Church when she attended her first service on an Easter morning at Christ Church Cathedral in Louisville, Kentucky, where she is from originally. She says, “It was the beauty of the liturgy that drew me in. The prayers, hymns, and dignity of the worship opened a door for me to return to God after a long absence from the church.”
When not in a panic over writing papers for school, Christie enjoys hanging out with family and friends, listening to music, and cooking. She invites everyone to join her for Bible Study and lively discussion at Trinity on Sunday mornings at 9:30am!

| Sam Holt accepted the position of organist and choirmaster at Trinity in July 2006. Having played the organ since age 15, Sam took formal training in organ at Meredith College while he was a full time student at Noth Carolina State University. Sam 's knowledge and love of the music and liturgy of the Episcopal Church are obvious to all who worship with him. His enthusiasm is infectious. Sam's wife Debbie shares his love of music and sings soprano in our choir. They have two daughters who are both college students.
Sam Holt brings musical energy to our services, teaching our choirs and congregation new music, reinforcing music we already know, and inspiring us to reach farther with our voices than we had thought possible. Sam believes that "music is central to our worship, central to sharing the word of God and the promises of our faith."
