table |
The “Life of our Parish” often involves
food! We gather and share food on special occasions just as individual
families have special holiday celebrations. Whether it’s a reception
for the Bishop after confirmation or a special liturgical day such as
Epiphany, Easter, Rogation Day, or one of our parish traditions such
as Rally Day, we gather as a church family to enjoy food and fellowship.
During Lent we keep it simple, but share suppers once a week.
A very exciting and new part of the life of our parish is Foyer
Groups.
Begun in the fall of 2005, the Foyer Groups were formed by randomly
dividing the entire congregation into small groups. Foyer Groups
give the congregation a casual, simple and purely social way to get
to know folks in the parish they might otherwise not get to know.
Every year the membership of these groups will be rearranged, allowing
for new opportunities to meet and know people. We encourage every
adult who attends Trinity to give this fellowship a try. There are
wonderful folks sitting in our pews!
Please contact the church
office if you are interested in joining a Foyer Group.
