The Book Forum meets Sunday mornings from 9:15 until 10:15. This
group reads and discusses all sorts of books, alternating between
fiction and non-fiction, chosen by the group.
The Adult Forum studies a variety of topics reflecting the interests
of the participants. Recently these topics have ranged from Bible
study to social issues, including a close look at experiences of
one of our parishioners in Iraq and in post Katrina New Orleans.
This class often discusses current issues of importance in our community,
the nation or the world.
Bible Studies meet on Wednesday mornings and on Monday evenings
during the school year. These sessions are always open to newcomers
or guests. Other short-term educational offerings are available during
Lent and at other times throughout the year.
Education for Ministry (EFM) is a four year theological education
class produced by and conducted under the auspices of the University
of the South at Sewanee. In a small-group setting each group studies
the Bible, Christian History and theology and engages in a guided
process of Theological reflection. Tuition is charged for this class
and group size is limited.
Adult Inquirer’s Class is intended to give an overview of
the Christian faith in the Episcopal Tradition to newcomers and to
those who want to engage more actively in the Episcopal Church. The
class, which also prepares persons for Confirmation, is offered to
coordinate with the Bishop’s visit to Trinity.
Young Adult Group Parishioners and visitors in their twenties and
thirties are welcome to join our Young Adult Group. We meet on Sunday
mornings during the Christian Education Hour for fellowship and lively
discussion on a wide range of topics.
